SpacePort Pickup by KerroPerro SpacePort Pickup by KerroPerro
Well i got some deserved critisism about my first upload with this model (the Megacity SkyCab) so i decided to make a scene with it that had the look and feel that was in my head.

Btw the image that was critisized isn't up anymore, i just put a very basic render there instead, but trust me she was right - it looked off! ;)

As said the Cab i modeled in Softimage and textured in Mudbox, the scenery was also modeled in Soft but had a little excursion to 3ds Max for some Greebling and the texturing was mostly stock with a few things i painted in Photoshop. Rendered with the amazing Octane Renderer!

Edit: Ok changed it again - used an earlier render that had a better composition and tried out CGeyeGuy's Photoshop tip...

Looks a lot better now. Now it really looks like your model belongs to the scene. I would suggest to make light sourses outside the buildings to make it a bit more lively and maybe on the bottom of our vehicle as well because you need your model to stand out a bit. Now it looks like glued to the background a bit too much. But it's a good progress. ^^

I think you should go into Photoshop or Gimp and add an orange/yellow
layer over it. Then set the layer to soft light.

It would set a mood to the picture
